How you’ll make an impact
- Lead and inspire the development team, creating an environment that fosters high performance, engagement, and professional growth
- Own and manage the team’s product backlog, prioritize tasks effectively and facilitate Agile ceremonies to keep the team aligned and on track
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure clear documentation of requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, enabling smooth collaboration
- Oversee key HR responsibilities such as recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and maintaining team morale
- Act as a helping hand to the Lead Product Owner, aligning initiatives with broader organizational goals while representing the team’s priorities
- Track and report delivery metrics (like velocity or sprint progress) to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistent delivery of value
- Bring a startup mindset to the table—encourage innovation, adaptability, and iterative problem-solving while managing risks thoughtfully to balance speed with quality
- Proactively spot potential risks to delivery timelines or quality and work with the team to address them before they become blockers
Requirements for the role
- Proven experience leading and inspiring high-performing development teams
- Hands-on knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and backlog management.
- Strong communication skills to document requirements and align with stakeholders
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and fostering team morale
- Experience working as a Product Owner or closely with Product Owners, with a solid understanding of translating business needs into actionable requirements and user stories
- Proficient in tracking delivery metrics to drive improvements
- Adaptable, innovative and able to balance speed with quality
- Skilled at identifying and mitigating delivery risks
- Understanding of software development processes (coding experience is a plus)

- Salary range 4500 EUR – 6000 EUR gross, depending on experience
